While the end of summer is nearing, it is important to ensure your patients are doing all they can to stay healthy and safe throughout the year. That is why the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) named August the National Immunization Awareness Month. Now more than ever, people are finding different ways to educate themselves on vaccines and it is your job to steer them in the right direction. As we know, the internet isn’t always trustworthy which is why, as pharmacists, you are able to leverage your knowledge and relationship with your patients to ensure everyone remains healthy and educated. Thank you, pharmacists, for all that you do to keep our communities safe!
